8. Shaft seal Selection

For liquids containing solids in suspension with low abrasivity. Sealing with clean liquid of
external source with pressure of 0,5 up to 1 bar over the pressure pw (see Type series booklet)

Same execution as code 0, however applicable when sealing liquid should not be in contact to
the pumped liquid.

For liquids containing abrasive solids in suspension. Washing with clean liquid of external source
with pressure of 0,1 and 0,2 over the pressure pw (see Type series booklet).

For liquids free of solids in suspension and positive suction.
Seal though the pumped liquid.
