and containment shroud.
7.4.2 Preparing the pump set
1. De-energise the pump set and secure it against unintentional start-up.
2. Disconnect the motor from the power supply.
3. Disconnect and remove all auxiliary pipework.
7.4.3 Removing the back pull-out unit (including motor)

WARNING
Back pull-out unit tilting
Risk of squashing hands and feet!

Suspend or support the back pull-out unit to prevent it from tilting.
CAUTION
Improper transport of complete back pull-out unit (with or without impeller)
Damage to the plain bearings!

Use a suitable transport lock to prevent axial movement of the pump shaft
during transport.
1. If required, suspend or support motor 800 to prevent it from tilting.
2. Undo hexagon head bolt 901.04 (if fitted) at support foot 183 and remove the
support foot.

Only for versions with clamped casing cover:
Fit the casing cover to the bearing
bracket lantern with hexagon head bolt 901.31.
4. Undo hexagon nuts 920.01.
5. Use forcing screws 901.74 to push the complete back pull-out unit out of casing
102.
6. Use suitable lifting equipment (crane) to pull the back pull-out unit out of the
casing and set down in a horizontal position.
7. Place back pull-out unit onto the impeller in a vertical position.
8. Secure the back pull-out unit against tilting.
