If the piping is not filled with water, the pump should only be operated for a short
period of time to prevent any damage to the pump bearings (lubricated by the fluid
handled).
1. Check the available mains voltage against the data on the name plate.
2. Undo the two screws at the front cover using a suitable screwdriver.
3. Remove the front cover.
4. Lead a suitable three-phase power cable (e g. 3 x 0.75 mm
2
) through the pump’s
cable gland.
5. Strip the cable sheath and cores in accordance with applicable regulations.
6. Connect the cores to the pump’s terminals L, N and PE.
7. Firmly tighten the cable gland and provide strain relief.
8. Place the front cover in position and close tightly using the two screws.
9. The power cable should be led downwards in a suitable fashion in order to
prevent damage.
