REFERENCE THROUGH DIGITAL PRECISION
The KSD-RC is a hardware controller for controlling the internal parameters of all KSD monitors.
With the help of these parameters, the monitors can be perfectly adapted to the room and the ins-
tallation at the listening position.
In addition, the KSD-RC is a perfect monitor controller that allows quick access to the monitoring
volume of the system, to dim or mute signal quickly or to check the Mono-Mid- and Side-Signal.
Connection:
The KSD-RC is connected to the loudspeakers with standard network cables.
Parameters:
After connecting and switching on the loudspeakers the parameters of master speaker are dis-
played.
These arer::
Volume Control: 0...-99.5dB
Gain: -32dB ...+6dB
EQ1..6 - Freq: selects fi lter frequency
EQ1..6 - Gain: -12dB ... 12dB
EQ1..6 - Q: 0.1 ... 20.0
Lowshelving: -6dB ... +6dB
Higshelving: -6dB ... +6dB
Delay: 0.0 ... 3.1m
buttons:
DIM:
reduces the volume by 20dB
MUTE: muted the signal
MID: calculates the center signal (mono signal) from the left and right signal words in the AES data
stream and outputs this to the monitors again.
SIDE: calculates the left and right side signal from the left and right signal words in the AES data
stream and returns this to the monitors again.
