This guarantee does not apply to any product that has been tampered with, or to
damages incurred through improper use and care, faulty packaging by the owner or
mishandling by any carrier.
In order to offer the best possible after-sales service and constantly improve customer
satisfaction, KRUPS may send a satisfaction survey to all customers who have had their
product repaired or exchanged in a KRUPS authorised service centre.
The international KRUPS guarantee applies only for products purchased in one of the
countries listed, and used for domestic purposes only in one of the countries listed on
the Country List. Where a product purchased in one listed country and then used in
another listed country:
a)
The international KRUPS guarantee does not apply in case of non conformity of
the purchased product with the local standards, such as voltage, frequency, power
plugs, or other local technical specifications
b)
The repair process for products purchased outside the country of use may require
a longer time if the product is not locally sold by KRUPS
c)
In cases where the product is not repairable in the new country, the international
KRUPS guarantee is limited to a replacement by a similar product or an alternative
product at similar cost, where possible.
Consumer Statutory Rights:
This international KRUPS guarantee does not affect the statutory rights a consumer may
have or those rights that cannot be excluded or limited, nor rights against the retailer
from which the consumer purchased the product. This guarantee gives a consumer
specific legal rights, and the consumer may also have other legal rights which vary from
State to State or Country to Country. The consumer may assert any such rights at his
sole discretion.
For Australia only:
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and
compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable
quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

PRECAUCIONES IMPORTANTES
Cuando utilice aparatos eléctricos, mantenga algunas precauciones
elementales en cuanto a seguridad y en particular las siguientes:
1. Le invitamos a leer cuidadosamente este instructivo antes de usar el
aparato, en él encontrará instrucciones, características e ideas para su
mejor aprovechamiento.
2. No toque las superficies calientes. Utilice las asas.
3. Para protegerse de una posible descarga eléctrica, no sumerja el cable, las
tomas de corriente o el aparato, ni en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
4. Vigile atentamente el aparato cuando lo utilicen niños o cuando éste se
encuentre a su alcance.
5. Desconecte el aparato después de usarlo y antes de limpiarlo. Espere a
que enfríe antes de instalar o de retirar los accesorios.
6. Si el cordón de alimentación es dañado, éste debe sustituirse por el
fabricante, por su agente de servicio o por personal calificado con el fin de
evitar un peligro. No utilice el aparato eléctrico, cuando funcione mal, o tras
haber sufrido algún daño independientemente de lo que se trate, llévelo a
un centro de servicio.
7. El uso de determinados accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante
podría ocasionarle heridas.
8. No utilice el aparato en el exterior.
9. No deje el cable colgando de una mesa ya que podría provocar accidentes
graves. No lo deje en contacto con superficies calientes.
10. No coloque nunca el aparato sobre o cerca de un quemador de gas, de una
placa eléctrica o de un horno caliente.
11. Primero conecte el aparato a la toma de corriente y luego enciéndalo. Para
apagarlo, desconectelo.
12. No utilice el aparato para fines distintos a los que fue creado.
13. Alimentos muy grandes, empaques con papel aluminio o utensilios no
deben insertarse en el tostador ya que podría existir riesgo de incendio o
choque eléctrico.
14. Puede ocurrir un incendio si el tostador está cubierto por materiales
flamables, incluyendo cortinas, manteles, paredes u otros mientras está
en operación.
15. No intente nunca retirar el pan si el ciclo de tostado no ha terminado.
16. No operar desatendido.
17. Cuando caliente pasteles para tostadora, siempre use la configuración de
color de tostado más clara.
GUARDE CUIDADOSAMENTE ESTOS CONSEJOS
PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE
El embalaje del producto está compuesto por materiales reciclables, no lo tire
a su basura habitual, llévelo al centro de recolección selectivo más próximo.
Los servicios técnicos autorizados post-venta le recogerán el aparato usado
para proceder a su destrucción respetando las normas medioambientales
o llévelo a un punto de recolección especializado previsto para este efecto.
