4.1 Grounding
The OPTIBAR * 5060 VGK5/6/D*A/W/V R/H/1/7/S/T*******(*)************** must be grounded.
In the case of the version with remote housing of the OPTIBAR * 5060 VGK5/6/D*A/W/V
R/H/1/7/S/T*******(*)************** pressure transmitters, the equipotential bonding must be
provided in the complete mounting area of the connection cable between electronics housing
and transmitter housing.
4.2 Cable entry
The supplied cable entry is suitable for the housing temperature range certified for the
OPTIBAR * 5060 VGK5/6/D*A/W/V R/H/1/7/S/T*******(*)**************-.
Cable entries may only be replaced by the same type or suitable cable glands separately certified
as per ATEX/IECEx with minimum IP 66 must be used.
If a cable entry other than the one provided is used, the separately certified cable entry
determines the maximum permitted ambient temperature at the electronics housing (maximum
values: -40°C / -40°F, +80°C / +176°F).
4.3 Material resistance
The OPTIBAR * 5060 VGK5/6/D*A/W/V R/H/1/7/S/T*******(*)************** should only be used
in media against which the wetted materials are sufficiently resistant.
4.4 Housing cover lock
In the case of the single chamber housing versions the housing cover must be turned until it
stops before starting up and using the OPTIBAR * 5060 VGK5/6/D*A/W/V
R/H/1/7/S/T*******(*)************** in explosive atmospheres. It should be secured using the
lock on the cover.
For the double chamber housing versions the housing cover on the terminal compartment and
the housing cover on the electronics compartment must be turned until they stop before starting
up and using the OPTIBAR * 5060 VGK5/6/D*A/W/V R/H/1/7/S/T*******(*)************** in
explosive atmospheres. They should be secured using the appropriate lock on the cover.
