Diagram of air circulation in the NADIA inserts

Description of air circulation in the NADIA inserts

Aeration of the combustion chamber is realized only from the outside.

The insert has a built-in air intake from the outside - an intake connection fi 125 mm with a facto-

ry-mounted throttle to regulate air flow.

Adjusting the insert takes place via a single mechanism (controller of the throttle position) below the

door of the insert.

The insert has a dual system of aeration of the combustion chamber, the primary and the secondary

air.  The separation of air to the combustion chamber takes place in the space (air chamber) below

the plate on which combustion takes place.

The primary air is supplied over the entire width of the stove through a slot in the strip constituting

the safety fence located on the front of the stove and the aeration panel located on

the back wall of the stove just above the plate where combustion takes place.

The insert also has an air curtain - a system of pure glass without taking air from the room. The air is

supplied by special ducts on the sides of the fireplace to the chamber

at the top of the insert and evenly distributed onto the glass, across its width.   The air directed by the

deflector “sweeps” the glass causing fire and smoke to move away from it, which significantly reduces

the deposition of soot thereon, so that it remains clean. In this way, oxygen is supplied to the upper

part of the combustion chamber in which the post-combustion of gases produced during combus-

tion of wood take place, which further reduces harmful emissions to the atmosphere.
