5 Connecting the VM-100YC
To connect the
VM-100YC
1:10 s-Video Distribution Amplifier
,
as the
example in Figure 2 illustrates, do the following

:
1. Connect the s-Video
source (for example, an s-Video player) to the
INPUT 4-pin connector.
2. Connect the OUT 4-pin connectors to up to 10 s-Video
acceptors (for
example, s-Video recorders).
3. If required, connect the LOOP 4-pin connector, when looping units and
release the TERM
switch on first unit (selecting Hi-Z). Push in the
TERM
switch on the second unit (selecting 75 ).
4. Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the power socket and connect the
adapter to the mains electricity (not shown in Figure 2).
5. Switch on the
VM-100YC
.
The s-Video source distributes to the s-Video acceptors.

switch on its power and then switch on the power on each device
