4 Connecting a PT101DVI DVI Repeater
The example in Figure 2 illustrates how—when connecting a DVI Graphics
source to a VP-724DS Seamless Switcher / Scaler

—you can use the
PT101DVI DVI Repeater to extend the standard DVI transmission range to
15 meters

.
To extend the DVI transmission range using a PT101DVI DVI Repeater, as
the example in Figure 2 illustrates

, do the following:
1. Connect the DVI graphics source (for example, a computer) to the INPUT
connector on the PT101DVI DVI Repeater.
2. Connect the OUTPUT connector on the PT101DVI DVI Repeater to the
DVI VIDEO INPUT on the VP-724DS Seamless Switcher / Scaler.
3. Connect the VIDEO OUT HD15F connector on the VP-724DS to the
video acceptor, for example, a Plasma monitor.
4. Connect the power cord to
the VP-724DS.
5. Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the power socket on the
PT101DVI and connect the adapter to the mains electricity.
