Connecting the 6810HDxl
Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your
6810HDxl. After connecting your 6810HDxl, connect its power and
then switch on the power to each device.
To connect the 6810HDxl , as illustrated in the example in
, do the
following:
1. Connect an SD/HD/3G HD-SDI source (such as, an HD/SD digital video
player) to the SDI IN BNC connector.
2. Connect the SDI OUT BNC connector to an SDI and AES/id3 acceptor (such
as, video broadcast equipment).
3. Connect an AES digital audio source (such as, DAT-Player 4) to the AUDIO IN
TO EMBEDDER 4 BNC connector (for channel 4).
4. Connect the AUDIO OUT TO DE-EMBEDDER BNC connector (for channel 1)
to an AES digital audio acceptor (such as, DAT-Recorder 1).
5. Connect the SDI LOOP BNC connector to an SDI acceptor (such as, an SDI
display).
6. Connect the 5V DC power adapter to the power socket and connect the
adapter to the mains electricity (not shown in
).
