12-3 Replacing flash lamp

①

Turn the power switch OFF and unplug the power supply cable from the power outlet.

Remove the lamp cover using the same steps described for replacing observation light bulb to
expose the flash lamp.

Refer to the steps

of “12-2 Replacing observation light bulb”.

Remove the electronic flash compartment cap and firmly push the marked base inward to
release the flash lamp.

④

While holding the socket of a new flash lamp, align three pins to the socket, and firmly push it
down to fix. Do not touch the glass part of flash lamp during this procedure.

⑤

Install the lamp cover and the electronic flash compartment cap.

Note

・

When replacing observation light bulb, pull straight out and push straight in the bulb along the
direction of electrode pin. Do not apply any twisting force.

・

When installing the

observation lamp, securely

insert the lamp to the end of the socket.

・

When installing the

lamp cover, do not apply any stress to the cord of the socket.

・

Make sure that the lampshade protrusion securely fits into the groove to avoid uneven lighting.

・

Do not touch a lamp within a lampshade with bare hands. Otherwise, the lamp’s useful life
may be shortened due to burned fingerprints on hot lamp surface.
