In the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter menu, call up the menu item „Modbus settings“> „Modbus
RTU“ and deactivate both RS485 interfaces and confirm with Save.

In the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter menu, call up the menu item „Inverter“ > „Activation code“. The
activation code, which is subject to a charge, must be purchased in advance via our web shop
shop.kostal-solar-electric.com

Enter the previously purchased activation code for the battery function under the „Activation code“
item.
