Electrical connection
The appliance is adjusted to the alternating voltage of 230V~. A power lead with a
plug should be connected to a plug-in socket with a safety pin only. Electrical system
should meet actual legal standards and extra local standards, if required.
It is essential to fill the appliance entirely with water before connecting it to
the electric mains.
Before an initial start-up please check visually the connections, make sure that the
assembly of the appliance has been carried out in accordance with the schematic
diagrams and continue as follows:
•
Open the valve on cold water inlet.
•
Turn on one of the hot water taps (water outflow without air bubbles indicates
that the water heater has been entirely filled with water).
•
Turn off hot water tap.
•
Check the connections for leaks.
•
Check, if the safety valve works properly
:
-
turn the lever or the turning knob of the valve to open the water outflow from
the outlet pipe. If there is no water outflow, the valve is faulty and the water
heater cannot be operated.
•
Connect the water heater to the electrical mains.
