Disabling the Requirement for a Digital Signature

If your Windows XP system is set to block installation of driver software
that does not carry a recognized digital signature, it will not allow you to
install the Korg USB MIDI Driver for Windows XP. Use the following
procedure to disable this requirement so that you can install the driver.

1.

Click the taskbar’s Start button to open the Start menu. In the menu,
click on

Control Panel

. In the Control Panel, double-click on

System

to

open the

System Properties

dialog. Click on the dialog’s

Hardware

tab,

and then click the

Driver Signing

button.

2.

A dialog opens and asks you

What actions do you want Windows to

take?

Select either

Ignore

or

Warn,

and then click

OK

. You can then

proceed to install the Korg driver. After installing the driver you may, if
you wish, go back to the dialog and change the setting back to

Block

.
