Maintenance
To increase the life of your Koowheel D3M it is important to
maintain the electrical skateboard regularly. Always make sure you
check all bolts and screws before driving.
Cleaning
Clean the electric skateboard only with a slightly damp cloth and
prevent any water or dirt entering the electronic components.
Cleaning your Koowheel D3M after each ride will increase the life.
Battery
Make sure that you don’t charge your Koowheel D3M longer than
necessary. Make sure that you unplug the charger when the battery
is fully charged. Overcharging will decrease the battery quality and
reduce the life span. It is also very important to prevent deep
discharge. Make sure that you charge the battery regularly and
never discharge it completely. It is important to charge it at least
once a month if you don’t use the electric skateboard for a long
time. The battery is equipped with a chip that registers deep
discharges or overcharges.
Motors & wheels
Make sure that no water gets into the engines while cleaning the
wheels / motors. It is important to prevent water, sand or stones
entering the engines. Replace the wheels that are cover the motors
when the profile is less than 3mm thick. Contact us for a new set of
wheels when this happen.
