CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Keep the heather clean. Deposits of dust and dirt in appliance are a
common cause of overheating so these should regularly be removed!
Switch off the heather, remove the plug from the socket and allow the
heather to cool down before cleaning or carrying out maintenance work.
- Wipe the outside of the heather regularly with a dry or slightly damp
cloth. Do not use aggressive soaps, sprays, cleaners or abrasives, wa-
xes, polishes or chemical solutions!Make sure that no water gets into the
device.
- Use a vacuum cleaner to carefully remove any dust and dirt from the
grills and ensure that the air intake and outlet openings are clean. Be ca-
reful not to touch or damage any internal parts during cleaning.
- The heather contains no other parts which need maintenance. The ap-
pliance may only be opened and/or repaired by properly authorized and
qualified persons.
- At the end of the season, stored the cleaned heather upright, in the
original packaging if possible, in a cool, dry and dust-free place.
- If the heather becomes worn or is damaged beyond repair, do not
dispose of it with household waste. Take it to your local authority’s col-
lection point for electrical appliances where any reusable materials will
be collected and redistributed.
This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.
