4. Do not block the locking knob while cooking as it is intended only
for the storage.
5. Cooking time depends on food type and thickness and on personal
taste. Check if the press is ready by lifting the upper plate with the han-
dle. NOTE: all the parts of the appliance except the handle get very hot
during and after cooking. Do not touch those parts until the appliance
has cooled down completely.
6. When cooking is done, lift the upper plate with the handle and remo-
ve food with a plastic spatula.
Never use metal tools as they may damage the non-stick coating of
the cooking plates.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the wall socket and let it
cool down.
2. Stubborn dirt: use a non-abrasive sponge to clean the plates.
3. External cleaning: clean with a damp sponge and wipe dry with a
soft and dry cloth.
4. Do not use wire sponge, abrasive sponges or solvents on any part
of the appliance.
5. DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids.
6. Any operation other than cleaning requiring the disassembling of the
appliance should be carried out by a qualifi ed
electrician.
7. Make sure to keep the lid with your hand while cleaning to prevent
the plates from closing accidentally.
8. Store in a fresh and dry place.
