False alarm: If the alarm sounds when there seems to be no reason, press the center button to
stop the alarm. If the alarm resumes check all possible sources of smoke
Battery Replacement: Remove the back cover, replace the battery only with an equivalent
Lithium battery. The red light will flash once. Press the test button for a few seconds, if the
device emits 3 bis, it is working correctly
Functional tests: Test the alarm once a week and each time you return after an absence. To do
this, press the test button for 1 second. The alarm is ringing. If the alarm does not sound, check
that the mounting cover on the back is securely attached. Do not place the detector in its
location if the test does not work.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF FIRE ?
● Don't panic, stay calm.
● Leave the building as quickly as possible.
● Touch the doors to feel if they are hot before opening them.
● Use an alternate exit if necessary.
●
Crawl on the ground and DO NOT stop to pick up anything.
●
Meet at a prearranged meeting place outside the building.
● Call the fire department from OUTSIDE the building.
Note : These guidelines will help you in the event of a fire. However, to reduce the risk of fires
starting, practice safety rules to prevent dangerous situations.
DO NOT RETURN INSIDE A BUILDING THAT IS ON FIRE
