PxV414 – 4U Platform User Manual
LED Indicators
On the left side next to the handle of the PxV414 – 4U Platform there are the
indicator LEDs.
Power LED
(green)
This LED lights up green when the power supply is correct
and the system is turned on. If this LED does not light up
after turning on the system, then you must check the
systems mains power source.
Hard disk activity
LED (orange)
Indicate the hard disk activity.
Temperature
control LED
(red)
Optional
This LED indicator is lighting if is reached the admitted
limit temperature of your system.
Do not press the disk eject while the disk drive LED is lit or
blinking.
Air Filter Hood Cover
On the systems front side, behind the detachable hood cover are located the air
intake openings of the overpressure cooling system.
Behind the hood cover there are located the washable air filter mat which
protects your system against dust and soiling (see chapter: “Cleaning the Air
Filter Mat”).
Drive Door
You can protect the PxV414 – 4U Platform drives from unauthorized use by
means of drive doors with a safety lock.
The drive door must be locked during the operation.
The key should be kept somewhere where it is not accessible to
unauthorized persons.
The PxV414 – 4U Platform comes equipped with two keys. If the
keys get lost or damaged, then the drive door can be opened only
by Kontron Embedded Computers service personnel.
