10.2. Cleaning the Filter Mat
The filter mats (Fig. 28, pos. 2) are placed in the filter mat holders (Fig. 28, pos. 2) on the front of the system. The level of
dirt on the filter mats depends on the level of dirt in the operating environment. If the filter mats become too heavily
soiled, it can result in the device becoming unusually hot. This is why we recommend cleaning the filter mats as frequently
as necessary, depending on the level of dirt.
The filter mats can be replaced during operation.

To replace the filter mat, proceed as follows:
1.
Open the front access panel (Fig. 7, pos. 4) by loosen the knurled screws.
2.
Loosen the knurled screw that secures the filter mat holder to the chassis.
3.
Pull the filter mat holder in the direction of the arrow and lift it off.
4.
Remove the soiled filter mat.
5.
Clean the filter mat as follows:
 Rinse in water (up to approximately 40°C, possibly with the addition of a standard gentle detergent).
 It is also possible to beat the filter mat, to vacuum it or blow it with compressed air.
 For dirt that contains grease/oil, the filter mat should be rinsed with warm water with the addition of a degreaser.
Filter pads should not be cleaned with powerful water jets or wrung out.
