4.7.1.
Rear Side View of the KBox A-103 with Vertical Mounting Bracket
The KBox A-103 is designed for wall mounting, in vertical position inside of a control cabinet.
Please observe the mounting instructions included in the section 7/ “Installation Instructions”, and the outline
dimensions in the subsection 10.1.2 “Mechanical Specifications of the KBox A-103 with Vertical Mounting Plate”.

4.7.1.1.
Functional Earth Stud
There is an M4 functional earth terminal on the lower side of the vertical mounting plate of the KBox A-103
(Figure 18, pos. 5). This terminal must be connected as required.
The KBox A-103 with the earth stud that is marked with a “Functional Earth” symbol (Figure
18) has to be grounded to an appropriate “common earth” connection point.
The earth stud (Figure 18, pos. 5) is available only on the vertical mounting plate of the KBox
A-103.
The KBox A-103 with vertical mounting plate (Figure 18) can’t be extended with the WLAN
option and/or the GPIO option (refer to subsection 4.7.4 and 4.7.5).
