the stand’s threaded bolt as far as it will go

7

Next screw the microphone clamp or the boom

7

arm onto the threaded bolt.

8

Loosen the knurled washer a bit and re-tighten the

8

microphone clamp or the boom arm.

Disassembly is performed in the reverse order.

D. USE OF THE BOOM ARM

Round base stands are typically solo stands, they can,
of course, be equipped with a boom arm.

NOTE:
Load bearing weight and listing angel are dependent upon:
a. Base circumference of the microphone stand (here: 278 mm)
b. Distance of the load bearing weight (=Microphone) from the central stand tube
c. Carrying load of the swivel arm joint (properly tighten the clamp)

TIP:
- Compared to the three-legged stands, round base stands have a

-

smaller base circumference. This is why we recommend the use

-

of short boom arms, e.g. Model 21140 or 21160.

- First check the compatability of the swivel arm with the microphone.

- Keep the tube combination clean and dry.
- Dirt and liquid in the base tube can have a breaking effect on the

-

extension tubes!

- To care for the product use a damp cloth and a non-abrasive

-

cleaning agent.
