Information for use
Intended use
The boom arm disposes of a 36 mm diameter adapter to be used wherever a microphone has to
cover a greater distance. The extension tube and the adjustable counterweight allows a high de-
gree of flexibility. The boom arm is suited for speaker or lighting stands with a tube end of a 35
mm diamater. Due to the reducing thread you can mount microphones with 3/8" and 5/8" threads.
Foreseeable misapplication
Do not transport the boom arm when the microphone is mounted.

During transport or storage the clamping screws must be kept closed at all times.

Use a suitable stand: The stand must have a tube end diameter of 35 mm. Furthermore, it

should have sufficient stability and load-bearing capacity. Observe the instructions of the stand

in use.

Should the stand or the boom arm fall down, personal injury and/or material damage may
u
occur.
u
There is a risk of crushing between the components on account of the adjustment possibilities.
u
Due to the position of the boom arm, there is danger of falling parts.
u
The user should be physically fit and technically competent.
u
The usage information is an integral part of the product and should be kept for its service life
u
or passed on to any subsequent owner or user.

Unsuitable or improper use.

Incorrect installation or commissioning by the buyer or third parties.

Natural wear and tear.

Careless handling.

Impact on components of foreign origin.

Use of non-original spare parts.
Modifications, additions and conversions that may impair safety are prohibited without the manu-
facturer's approval.
