(6) Insert the supplied DSC board to the indicated
connector of the machine horizontally until it hits
against the end.
Note:
Perform it with certainty because contact failure
leads to the breakage of the board.
(7) Remove the one screw shown in the illustration
from the machine.
(8) Insert the supplied board holder to the DSC
board at the position shown in the illustration.
(9) Using the supplied shoulder screw (large), fasten
the board holder to the machine.
Note:
• Make sure that the DSC board does not slant.
• If it slants, push it horizontally until it hits
against the end.
(10) Reinstall the dual scan board removed in steps
(4) to (5) by reversing the removal procedure.
Note:
Perform the following steps (11) to (14) only when
the dual scan document feeder is installed.
(11) Connect the connector which was removed in
step (3) again.
(12) Insert the supplied DSC board to the indicated
connector of the dual scan board horizontally
until it hits against the end.
