Inserting the cartridge film
When “Insert a film (processed cartridge)” appears on the
screen before prescanning or scanning, insert only processed
cartridge film whose process indicator tab has been removed
into the carrier.

Press the cartridge eject lever and open the lid.

Insert the cartridge with the film status indicator end
up.

Close the lid.

Notes
• Before inserting the cartridge, make sure that the shading
lid is closed.
• Be sure to use only processed cartridge film whose
process indicator tab is removed. If you insert a cartridge
with its tab intact or not removed completely, “Not a
processed cartridge” appears on the screen. In this case,
make sure that the cartridge film is processed and remove
the tab completely. Then insert the cartridge film again.
• Do not touch the carrier or open the lid of the cartridge
holder during prescanning or scanning. This may cause
improper scanning.
