(3) Remove the control panel right cover. (Two

screws)

(4) Remove the control panel front cover.

Note:

Pull the left side of the cover toward you and slide
it to the right to remove it.

(5) Remove the connector of the control panel front

cover.

(6) Remove the cover shown in the illustration.

(One screws)

(7) Open the Reverse Automatic Document Feeder.
(8) Raise the control panel.
(9) Remove the control panel upper cover. (One

screw)

(10) Remove the two labels shown in the illustration.
(11) Remove the scanner front right cover. (Two

screws)
