11.10 Authentication Settings
By specifying account track settings, the use of this machine can be controlled. In addition, counters can be
controlled for the number of prints and scans for each account.

Detail
A maximum of 50 accounts can be registered on this machine.
If account track settings have been specified, the authentication screen is displayed while this machine
is in standby. In order to use this machine when account track settings are specified, the account name
and password must be entered. For details, refer to
"Controlling each account’s use of this machine
(Account Track)" on page 1-19
.
11.10.1 Specifying settings for Authentication Settings
Check that the following conditions are met before specifying authentication settings. When authentication
settings are specified, information stored in the memory is erased.
- No communication or computer documents are being printed.
- No copy or print jobs remain. (The amount of memory available should be 100%.)

Display the Administrator Management screen.

Touch [Account Track].
The Account Track screen appears.

Touch [Authentication Settings].
The Authentication Settings screen appears.

Touch [Account Track].
The Account Track screen appears.

Touch [ON], and then touch [OK].
The message "Are you sure you want to clear all data?" appears.

Touch [Yes].
The account track settings are initialized, and then the machine is automatically restarted.
