Layout and installation

Unpack the drum cartridge from its
carton and slide it into the machine
firmly until it locks into place
completely.

Note

Shield the drum cartridge from light,
especially strong light.

Unpack the starter toner cartridge
from its carton. Then, holding the
toner cartridge with both hands,
gently shake it to distribute the toner
evenly inside the cartridge.

Note

Do not touch the roller of the toner cartridge.

Slide the toner cartridge into the
machine firmly until it locks into
place completely.

Turn the cartridge locking lever
rightward until it locks into place
completely.
