Tightening of Belts for the Cutter Knife Shaft
Loosen the bolts holding the motor console (B) and
displace it in the slotted holes by means of the tighten-
ing screw (C) below the pulley. Remember to tighten
the screws for the motor console after the adjustment.
Tightening of Belts
Check regularly, if the belts of the machine are tight.
New belts should normally be tightened for the first
time after 1-2 working hours. Afterwards the belts
should be checked approx. every 500 working hours.
The belt tightening can be controlled, when opening
the guards on the side of the machine. Remember to
close the guards, before starting the machine.
The belt tightening can be controlled by pressing the
belts. Remember to check all the belts. If it is not
possible to adjust all the belts in one set to be equally
tight, the whole set of belts must be replaced.
Avoid tightening the belts too much, as it might
overload both the bearings and the belts and thereby
reduce the life.
Also remember to check that the belts are not too
worn, and replace them, if necessary.
If there is more than one belt in the set, it is
recommended to replace all the belts in one time.
