Selecting Inactive mode

Inactive

mode is provided to pause the operation temporarily. Neither transmission nor

reception takes place. The current echoes are removed from the display presentation.

Context

The

Operation

function controls the operating mode of the ST90 system.

Note

Note that Inactive operating mode is not the same as Passive mode. While Inactive mode
stops both transmission and reception, Passive mode will still allow the ST90 system
to receive echoes. To select passive mode set

and

Tx

Power

to Off.

Procedure

Inactive

.

When the ST90 system is disabled with this function, it will stop. The transmission
("pinging") stops.The current echoes are removed from the display presentation.
