Each transducer to be added to the echo sounder system must be selected and
identified individually.
Transceiver installation
The
Transceiver
pages are used to define the settings necessary to connect the
computer to each transceiver. Each transceiver is assigned one or more transducers.
Installation parameters
Configure the echo sounder system for operational use by inserting the relevant
installation parameters.
To allow the echo sounder system to provide correct data, you must define and
insert the location of each navigation and motion sensor, as well as the location of
the transducer. Additional configuration of operational parameters is also required.
Interfaces
Set up the interfaces with the external devices (navigation sensors and other
peripherals).
To provide correct information, the echo sounder system needs to communicate
with external devices. All these interfaces must be set up in the user interface.
Refer to the relevant descriptions and tasks in the echo sounder Installation Manual . For
more information about the practical use of the echo sounder system, as well as detailed
information about the functions and dialog boxes provided, refer to the
Reference
Manual and/or the context sensitive On-line help .
