Channel 0 will only be made available in the
UK to Coastguard users with written authorisa-
tion.

Channels M and M2 are UK marina channels

and will not be programmed on non-UK radios.
Channel 70 is the designated Digital Selected
Calling (DSC) channel and can only be used by
an DSC1400.
