Installing the HT20470 Processor Unit
The Processor Unit can be installed inside a console, inside a suitable cabinet, in a 19" rack or
on a desk. The Processor Unit does not contain any fans. It will be very warm, even during
normal operation. Make sure that adequate ventilation is available to avoid overheating.
Prerequisites
You must be equipped with a standard set of tools. This tool set must comprise the normal
tools for electronic and electromechanical tasks. This includes different screwdriver types,
pliers, spanners, a cable stripper, a soldering iron, etc. Each tool must be provided in various
sizes. We recommend that all tools are demagnetized to protect your equipment.
A suitable location for the Processor Unit must be defined before installation. Observe
the compass safe distance.
Context
If you need to install the unit in a 19" rack you must purchase and use the dedicated
mounting kit.

Mounting brackets for desktop installation are included with the delivery. Relevant
mounting hardware (bolts, nuts and washers) are included.
