Technical characteristics of the winch
Lowering procedure:
- Move the back-up device’s selection lever
to the “free mode” position (fig. 9A).
- Remove the rope from the self-tailing unit,
and hold it by hand (fig. 9B).
- Allow the rope to slide slowly over the
drum, for the lowering distance (fig. 9C).
- On completion of the lowering procedure,
repeat the lifting procedure and move the
back-up device’s selection lever back to
the “lock mode” position (fig. 7B, 7C, and
9D).
