Cleaning and Care
Blade Assembly
The blade assembly may be removed from the
blender jug for cleaning. Use the blade wrench
located in the underside of the lid.
Handle carefully –
The blades are extremely sharp!
It is not necessary to remove the blades after
every use. We advise against washing the
blades in the dishwasher. The heat, steam and
harsh detergents of an automatic dishwasher
will damage the ball bearings and lubrication.
Carefully wash the blade assembly by hand. Do
not soak it in soapy water.
Blade Seal
This seal may be removed for cleaning and
is replaceable. Since it is subject to wear
and tear, you can reorder a new seal from us
anytime.
Lid
Wash the lid with gentle dishwashing liquid, a
sponge or a soft brush.
Lid Gasket
The silicone seal may be removed for
cleaning. Since it is subject to wear and
tear, you can reorder a new seal from us
anytime.
Pitcher, Funnel, Stirrer
Remove the blade assembly before washing in
the dishwasher. The blender jug, funnel and
stirrer are dishwasher-safe, but whenever pos-
sible place them in the top rack of the dish-
washer.
Motor Base
Unplug the power cord. Use a damp cloth or
sponge to clean the surface of the motor base.
Clean the knob with a soft cloth or sponge.
Never immerse the motor base in water.
Do not use any harsh cleaning aids or
abrasive materials (such as steel wool) in
order to clean the KomoMix.
