FLASH CODES
Scooter controller internal diagnostics
The diagnostic flash codes for your scooter are designed to help you perform basic
troubleshooting quickly and easily. A diagnostic flash code flashes from the Power light in the
event one of the conditions listed below develops.

Battery charge is too
low or there is a bad
connection.
Scooter

to drive.
Charge batteries.
Check all battery wiring connections.
Contact your service agent.

Bad connection to
motor.
Scooter
stops
driving.
Check all connections between the motor and controller.
This includes the splitter connections between front and rear
chassis.
Motor may be faulty and need replacing.
Contact your service agent.

Wiring short circuit.
Scooter

driving.
This is due to wiring damage and all wiring needs checking.
Contact your service agent.

Brake error.
Scooter
stops
driving.
Ensure the manual freewheel lever is in the drive position
and restart the scooter.
There is a fault with the magnetic brake or wiring.
Contact your service agent.

Controller circuit
protection.

The motor or its wiring is faulty causing too much current
tripping controller.
Contact your service agent.

Throttle control lever
not at centre position
when switching on
scooter.
Scooter

Put the throttle control lever in the central position, turn the
power off and then turn on again.
Check that the charger is not connected.

Throttle Pot error.
Scooter

The Throttle Pot or its wiring could be faulty.
The Speed Pot or its wiring could be faulty.
Contact your service agent.

Controller error.
Scooter

Check all wiring connections including main battery
connections.
The controller needs replacing.
Contact your service agent.

Brake error.
Scooter

driving.
Ensure the manual freewheel lever is in the drive position
and restart the scooter.
The electronic brake has a bad connection or fault. Check
the brake and motor connections including the splitter
connections between front and rear chassis.
Also check the controller connections.
Contact your service agent.

Controller error.
Scooter

An excessive voltage has been applied to the controller.
Often this is caused by a poor battery connection. Check the
battery connections.
