12. Operate the work equipment control levers, and extend the
boom cylinder, bucket cylinder, and arm cylinder to their
stroke end.
13. Set the lock lever securely to LOCK position (L).
14. Stop the engine.
15. Tighten the cap of oil filler port (F) on the hydraulic tank se-
curely.
By doing so, the hydraulic tank is pressurized.
NOTICE
If the hydraulic tank is not pressurized, air is sucked in
the pump and it affects the components badly.
16. Remove cover support lever (2) and fix it to the lever lock
securely.
17. Close dirt cover (1).
18. Start the engine and run it at low idle for 10 minutes to bleed air.
19. Stop the engine.
NOTICE
Leave the engine stopped for at least 5 minutes, and then start it. This will remove the air bubbles in
the oil inside the tank.
20. Check that there is no leakage of oil and wipe off any oil that is spilled.
METHOD FOR CHANGE OIL IN SWING MACHINERY CASE

WARNING
Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot, and may cause burn injury.
Accordingly, wait until they have cooled down before starting the work.
Refill capacity: 3.0 ℓ
Prepare a container to receive oil.
1.
Swing the upper structure so that drain plug (P) on the un-
derside of the machine is in the middle between the right
and left tracks.
2.
Place the oil container to catch oil under drain plug (P).
3.
Remove drain plug (P), drain the oil, then tighten the plug
again.
Tightening drain plug (P) to 80±8 Nm.
