Grounds for diagnosis or compensation methods can be explained. Training and treatment
programs matched to symptoms can be investigated.

The model is useful in helping students to memorize the structures of the laryngopharynx
in a three-dimensional manner. Students can more easily memorize the size, undulations,
and inclinations of the laryngopharynx through touch. This is an important experience that is
directly linked to clinical practice—something that was not possible in previous education.
