open the pump, remove the old membranes from the valve housing,
fit the new membranes, then close the pump carefully.
Twice a year replace the dust filter fitted at the top of the pump. This guarantees
clean air and prevents the outlet pipes becoming blocked. If the filter is dirty, the
pump can get hot and burn out. Always replace a dirty air filter with a new one;
never rinse it out.
Problems caused by incorrect use are not covered by the guarantee. These include:
Damage caused by moisture, rusting, water getting into the pump, condensation,
contamination, jamming as a result of dirt/dust. Damage caused by insufficient air
outlet, too small air stones, old/dirty air stones, kinked air hose, blocking of outlets as
a result of which the pump overheats and can burn out. Damage to membranes;
these should be replaced in good time during normal maintenance; the first set is
supplied free of charge, further sets can be obtained from your dealer.
SAFETY
1.
Always use an earthed socket for starting up the KoiPro Air-Blow.
2.
Always removed the plug from the socket before carrying out any maintenance
or cleaning!
3.
Do not let the pump get wet or fall into the water. If this should happen, remove
the plug from the socket, open up the pump and let it dry thoroughly before
connecting it to the power supply again.
4.
Position the pump in a dust-free area.
5.
Replace the pump membranes every 12 months to ensure a long service life!
6. NOTE!
Let the pump cool down before opening it. During operation the pump
can get very hot and cause skin burns if touched.
7.
Position the pump in an easily accessible place so that you can maintain it and
check it without running any risk.
8.
Make sure that there is an adequate air flow at the outlet. A blockage will
shorten the life of the pump.
9.
If there is any damage to the cable or the pump housing, do not turn the pump on.
Never replace, shorten or lengthen the plug and cable!
