Problem
Possible solution
The camera cannot
connect to the Kogan
SmarterHome™ app.
•
Restart the camera.
•
Check the Wi-Fi network is functioning normally.
•
Place the camera closer to the router.
•
Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz network, and that
this is the network currently corrected to your mobile
device.
•
Double check that you have read the instructions correctly
and that the status light in flashing rapidly. This means the
camera is ready to be connected.
•
If this does not work, we recommend resetting the camera
and attempting again.
The camera is still in the
device list after factory
resetting.
Follow the steps from the ‘Removing the camera from the
Kogan SmarterHome™ app’ section in this user guide.
The camera does not
identify the microSD card.
•
Ensure power to the camera is switched off then insert the
microSD card.
•
Ensure the microSD card is formatted to FAT32.
I am not receiving push
notifications from the
motion detection alarm.
Ensure notifications have been enabled on the Kogan
SmarterHome™ app and your mobile device.
