Camera does not turn
on, or it turns on and
shuts off

Turn off the camera.

Remove the batteries; confirm that they are the correct batteries
for your camera.

Insert a set of new or fully charged batteries.

Turn on the camera.
Cannot transfer pictures
to the computer

Install the EasyShare software that came with your camera.
Picture does not appear
on the LCD or EVF

Press the EVF/LCD button on the camera back.
Cannot take pictures

Transfer pictures to the computer.
LCD says “Memory is
full”
■
Delete unwanted pictures.
■
Insert a new memory card.
■
Change the Image Storage location.
