Using the EASYSHARE 
LS420 Camera Dock

The KODAK EASYSHARE LS420 Camera Dock makes it easy to transfer your 
pictures to the computer. In addition, the dock is a rapid battery charger for 
the KODAK Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery and supplies power to the camera. 
To keep the battery charged, store your camera in the dock whenever you are 
not using it.

CAUTION:

Install the software from the KODAK Software CD before 
connecting the camera or dock to the computer. Failure to 
do so may cause the software to load incorrectly.

Connecting the Dock

NOTE: Do not connect to the computer if the camera is in the dock.

Plug the 

 labeled end of the USB cable 

into the USB port on your computer.
If the computer port is not labeled, see your 
computer User’s Guide.

Plug the other end of the USB cable into the 
USB connector on the back of the dock.

3

Plug the AC adapter into the back of the 
dock and into a power outlet.

Leave the dock connected to the computer to transfer pictures, charge the 
battery, and provide power to the camera.
