To use digital zoom:

1

Turn the camera on in CAPTURE mode. 

In this mode, you can access the full 
optical zoom range plus the additional 
digital zoom range.

Press the DISPLAY button to turn on the 
LCD.

Move and hold the ZOOM switch all the 
way to the right (toward T) to zoom to 
the camera’s maximum range. 

4

View the subject through camera LCD.

The LCD displays an icon indicating that 
digital zoom is in effect.

Digital zoom is disabled when you turn 
the LCD off.

Press the SHUTTER button to take the 
picture.
