ONNECTING

PxtFX energy management device

extension unit
1. Discharging the PxtEX extension unit

Connect terminal X1
and terminal X2
(or terminal X3
) with the "VBST-PXT"
cable.
The PxtEX extension unit is discharged.
Measure the voltage at terminal X2
(pins 1 and 3)
(or at terminal X3
(pins 1 and 3)) with a multimeter.
Leave the "VBST-PXT" cable plugged in until no more voltage is measured.
The PxtEX extension unit is discharged.
Risk of damage!
Connecting undischarged "PxtEX extension units" or "PxtEX
extension unit and PxtFX energy management device" may
destroy the components.
Only connect discharged devices together.
Risk of damage!
Connecting devices of different storage types can lead to the
destruction of the devices.
Only connect PxtEX extension units and PxtFX energy
management device of the same storage type.
