Your eReader has a port cover on the bottom to protect the
Micro USB and Micro SD slots from water. To waterproof
your eReader, you must close the port cover firmly, as
shown in the illustration above. If the port cover isn't firmly
closed, your eReader will malfunction if it is submerged in
water or used in areas with high humidity, and will no longer
be covered by any warranty.
Your eReader is IP67-certified, which means that it has been
tested and certified as waterproof in certain conditions.
