s cre e n , but is m u ch to o dark w h e n th e p ic tu re is printed. You ca n
m o d ify th e c o lo r p a tterns to print y o u r picture.
T o de le te a dot:
• M o ve th e tip of th e c u rs o r a rro w to th e dot yo u w ish to
d e lete and p re ss e ither button.
• T h a t dot will d is a p p e a r fro m th e s c re e n and will not be used
by K o a la P rin te r fo r th a t c o lo r picture.
S u ppose you d e c id e th a t y o u r light g re y pattern is not d a rk enough.
Y ou ca n add d ots to yo u r c o lo r patterns:
• N o tic e th e b la ck a rro w s at th e right and b o tto m of th e c o lo r
pattern a re a of y o u r s c re e n display. T h e s e a rro w s d e n o te th e
e d g e s of th e dot pa tte rn m atrix.
• M ove th e tip of th e cu rs o r a rro w to th e a rea w h e re you w ant
to p la ce a dot and press e ith e r button.
• A d o t will be a d d e d to th e c o lo r pa tte rn at th a t point.
M od ifie d c o lo r p a tte rn s are re ta in e d in yo u r c o m p u te r’s m e m o ry
and will be used w h e n yo u print th e picture.
You ca n sa ve a p a rtic u la r set of c o lo r patterns:
• M ove th e c u rs o r to th e blue box la b e lle d SAVE and press
e ith e r button.
• You will be a ske d to e n te r th e n a m e of th e file in w h ic h you
w a n t to save th a t c o lo r pa tte rn set. E nter th e n am e of the
file a n d p re ss R E TU R N . Y ou c a n use no m o re th a n
16 c h a ra c te rs in y o u r file nam e.
• K oala P rin te r will sa ve th a t c o lo r pattern set fo r you and then
return you to th e C O L O R PATTERN S MENU.
