Switching On the Meter

When you have connected the sensor, you can switch the meter on
by pressing the on/off or meas key.
When the meter is switched on with the on/off key, first a self test is
performed and then the calibration data and settings are displayed
before the meter switches to measuring mode.
When the meter is switched on with the meas key, it immediately
switches to measuring mode.
Depending on the connected sensor and the specific measuring
task, several steps for configuration and calibration must be per-
formed as described on the following pages.
