7.2 Aligning the compressor housing

If damp gases are transferred with the pump, condensate may form
in the pump head during operation. This results in, among other
things, a reduction of the pump flow rate.
To ensure optimum suction capacity, it is possible to orient the
pump head downwards so that the condensate that forms can sim-
ply drain out of the pump head. For this purpose, the compressor
housing including pump head (depending on installation position)
can be rotated in increments of 90° and mounted.

1. Loosen the four Allen screws (2) of the housing cover (1) and remove
them.
WARNING
Risk of explosion from damage
If the housing cover is bent or if the paint is dam-
aged, there is no risk of explosion.

Perform the work steps carefully and without
the use of force.
2. Remove the housing cover (2).
The eccentric crank drive (3) and the four motor fastening screws (4)
become visible.
3. Loosen and remove the four motor fastening screws (4).
