7.9 Changing the safety slides
Pull out the mains plug before changing the grinding wheel.
Only switch on the machine with the protective hood on.
CAUTION
To change the safety slides, remove the water tray
(3-2/8) and dismantle the protective hood (3-2/6).
Then rotate the safety slides away from each other
and loosen the flange screws (both screws have a
right-hand thread).
Finally, mount the protective hood back again.
The grinding angle must be re-aligned after the
new safety slides have been mounted (see Chap-
ter 7.6). The safety slides must also be re-adjusted
(see Chapter 7.8).
