Move the cursor to the double arrow on the lower left line to navigate
to the next line of the program or to create a new line .

To create a new line, set the start time for the new program step using
the vertical arrow keys
or the confirmation key
combined
with the numeric pad . Use the confirmation key
to continue with
the setting of wavelength and events of this program line (use ho-
rizontal keys
to switch between parameters as well as between
wavelength and events screen) .
5.6.1 Creating a program
The use of the display is demonstrated using this exemplary program:
Program 01 is used to monitor absorbance at 280 nm for the first
10-minute step and at 420 nm during the next step, which has no time
limit, since it is the final step in this example . Additionally, event 1 is ena-
bled during the second step .

Select the menu Device Programs .
2.
Select a program number (from the currently
displayed screen) .
3.
Adapt time-, wavelength- and event-parame-
ters by navigating via horizontal keys
and
editing via vertical keys
or via usage of
confirmation key
and numeric keypad .
4.
Navigate to the double arrow on the lower left
side of the display and press the downward
key
to create a new line .
5.
Edit the time value of the new line and confirm
via the confirmation key
.
6.
Edit time, wavelength and events as done be-
fore (see also step 3) .
7.
Press the menu key
for 2 seconds to exit the
submenu . The program is automatically saved .
